Interactive journal + app for just $20
About us
Gaia aims to be the quick and easy solution that allows moms to invest into themselves during their postpartum journey. Gaia is a two part guided journal that is both a physical book that moms can read and write in, combined with an app that serves as a multi-purpose voice- recording, tracking, and community forming platform. Each mom can customize her Gaia experience how she wants to based on the time and energy she has, by choosing whether she wants to journal virtually, by hand, or both. Gaia extends beyond the confines of 'just a journal' by also being a research-backed guide for moms to follow along starting during their pregnancy, discussing important milestones and providing them with information and resources to be the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves.

What is the Gaia experience?

The beginning of the journal introduces moms to how they may prepare for what they'll experience postpartum. The rest of the journal is rooted in tackling different maternal topics, filled with prompted questions that moms can quickly answer by circling or writing one-word answers. There is also plenty of space for moms to independently journal, if they prefer.

The app, installed using the QR code in the journal, is personalized to each mom. They can use it to track of sleep and their emotions. The prompts that are embedded in the journal are also on the app so moms can voice record their answers if they feel it to be more convenient. Gaia users may also connect with one another using the app and can share their feelings with and ask questions to those who currently are in or have gone through postpartum.

Testimonials
"Honestly anything to mentally support postpartum folks is critical. It was the single most difficult experience of my life by far."

"I think this is SO needed and wish someone told me all of this when I was pregnant."

"I want to be able to remember my first postpartum journey so that I can look back to it for future pregnancies and farther down the road when my kids have kids."

"Simple straightforward language and pages are easy-reads but also tackle the difficulty of postpartum head on."
"Treatment is pivotal to recovery. Resources and education about postpartum depression must be better disseminated and implemented. These resources should be shared with the general public to reduce stigma, and shared with those who provide social and emotional support to postpartum patients, such as partners and family members."
-Clayton J Shuman (Assistant Professor of Nursing at University of Michigan)
